MidWest Dachshund Rescue
MidWest Dachshund Rescue is an all-volunteer organization that was founded in 2003. It primarily serves Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. They serve other Midwest states as needed. MWDR is committed to shelter and offer medical care for stray, abandoned and owner surrendered dachshunds and dachshund mixes. The overall goal is to find suitable homes for these dachshunds. Their organization actively participates in encouraging spay and neutering to help control the population of unwanted dachshunds. MWDR actively promotes animal welfare thought education.
If you are interested in working with a Dachshund Rescue and you do not live in the Midwest, please contact a Dachshund Rescue in your area.
If you have any questions or wish to surrender your dachshund to the MidWest Dachshund Rescue, please contact the rescue representative closest to you or contact rescue@mwdr.org.
