San Antonio Texas Diamond Dachshund Rescue
Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is an all volunteer group in the heart of Texas dedicated to the health, welfare and happiness of dachshunds. They are based in Kerrville, Texas but service all of San Antonio and surrounding areas. Volunteers come from San Antonio, Kerrville and other parts of Central Texas.
Diamond Dachshund Rescue is a non-profit, tax exempt organization. As such, they must rely on donations and contributions, which are necessary in order to continue paying the costs of health care, administrative needs and other necessary expenses for each of their dachshunds. Diamond Dachshund rescues, rehabilitates and places about one hundred dachshunds each year since their incorporation in 1998. That's a lot of happy, healthy tail wagging dogs and equally happy families! They strive to find the right home for each dog's individual personality and needs, so that the placement is permanent and both the dogs and the humans who adopt them, are equally happy.
Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is always in need of donations. They have many options for helping take care of their dachshunds including memberships, monetary donations, sponsorships, bequests and donations of goods like beds, blankets, kennels, leashes and collars. They can also use volunteers, foster parents and dog transporters, so feel free to help any way you can.
